Put on protective gloves and mix the ammonia-free colorant with the cream developer as directed.
Divide the hair into four sections and apply the mixture, starting at the roots; do not rub it into the scalp.
Follow the processing time specified in the product insert. Revlon’s published ColorSilk guidance generally specifies 25 minutes, with additional time for resistant gray hair.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear.
Apply the included after-color conditioner, leave it on for the time stated in the instructions, and rinse.
Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each use, even if you have used hair color previously. Wear suitable gloves, avoid contact with eyes, and rinse immediately if the product gets into your eyes. Do not use to color eyelashes or eyebrows. The colorant contains phenylenediamines and resorcinol, and the developer contains hydrogen peroxide. Keep out of reach of children and follow the full instructions included in the package.
